Tim Cuppett Architects is an Architectural/Interior Design group dedicated to the pursuit of thoughtful design solutions. Specializing in custom residential and light commercial projects, we are committed to delivering functionally based yet inspiring architectural results. Though most of the firm’s work has been single family residential, we enjoy the challenge of creating dramatic settings for retail and restaurant as well as office space.

I have had the honor of leading projects that have received design awards from the Texas Society of Architects and the International Interior Design Association. My firm has had homes featured on the AIA Homes Tour in 2004, 2005, and 2007. We are approved Architects for Watersmark at Barton Creek and Spanish Oaks, both in the hill country around Austin. Outside of Texas we have had projects in California, Colorado, and Washington D.C.

Our firm has been featured in Texas Architect, Austin Monthly, Billiant, Tribeza and Western Interiors.

Our firm looks to contextual architecture and regional landscape features to create a complimentary design set appropriately within its larger context. Grounded in classical Architectural education, our solutions are guided by the application of advanced and ecologically sensitive building designs in order to solve the client’s individual requirements and site specific problems. “Consult the genius of the place,” by Alexander Pope, has become the mantra under which we work.

At it’s best, Architectural Design is a medium that encourages human interaction and provides delight to the senses. And when it really works, especially in the home, it can elevate us to take a breath and be “in the moment”.
