Travis  v  habersaat, leed ap

Travis serves as Project Manager and Contributing Designer to Tim Cuppett Architects. With a dedicated interest in sustainable design and a commitment to the natural landscape, he provides our firm with a knowledgeable source of green building practices to incorporate into our custom projects. Travis is a Leadership in Energy Efficient Design (LEED) Accredited Professional.

Before joining us in 2006, he gained five years of professional experience at Scott Dutton Associates in Upstate New York, where he brought to completion a wide range of projects from custom residential to new retail, medical and commercial design. Travis has over six years of hands-on residential construction experience and has designed and fabricated numerous custom furniture pieces. This knowledge has aided the firm with the implementation of ‘designs that can be built’ through his understanding of joinery and attention to construction methods and details. In 2002, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University at Buffalo, New York where he excelled in the fundamentals of design.

Travis is a member of the Austin Green Building Program as well as the US Green Building Council, Central Texas Chapter, which helps to keep the firm up to date on the latest sustainable innovations. He brings a passion for photography as well as the ability to produce realistic 3D computer renderings to aid in the design process and walk the client through what the finished project will look like before construction. He is currently taking the Architectural Licensing Exam, which he hopes to have completed by the end of the year.
