architect

A life-long Texan, Brian spent his childhood playing soccer, roaming around town on his BMX bike, or mowing yards. Brian went on to study architecture at Texas A&M, where he also served as photo editor of the yearbook for 3 consecutive years which put him behind a camera at countless events telling authentic stories through still images. Brian developed a love for travel and culture during separate semesters abroad in Barcelona and Verona. Following a month’s long road trip to the Pacific Coast, Brian moved to the bustling “small” town of Austin to get a job. After a few years with a custom home builder, he relocated to Lubbock where he met his future wife a month before graduating with a Master of Architecture degree and moving back to Austin.

In 2022, Brian hung up his hard hat and transitioned from designing prominent high-rise towers with a large commercial design/build firm to join the talented Cuppett Kilpatrick team focusing on carefully detailed residences.

When not at work, Brian will be hanging with his amazing wife and kids where he claims many titles such as Chief Executive Bedtime Storyteller, Purveyor of Tickles & Piggy Backs, Second-most-feared Boogie Bear, Director of Unsolicited Advice, Volunteer Coach and Motivational Nagger, as well as a locally renowned Problem Creator / Solver.
